Welcome to Stars for Christ Children's Ministry! We are Morning Star's ministry for children 4 to 12 years of age. Please complete the following questions carefully and click the submit button at the end. If you have more than one child in this age bracket, please complete a form for each child.

STARS FOR CHRIST

STAR YOUTH

Star Yth is the youth ministry at the Morning Star Baptist Church in Shreveport. Star Yth is designed to help middle school and high school students grow in their faith, build relationships and influence the culture. This ministry is open to youth ages 13-18 yrs.

Ushers

Connecting people to God by creating an atmosphere of welcome and order for guests and members.

Music

The mission of the Music Ministry is to spread the Word of God through musical experiences in spirit and in truth. Our choir is open to all members, whether you are a gifted singer or someone who wants to help enrich the service through praise, worship and devotion in song.

THE MUSIC MINISTRY consist of: THE MASS CHOIR, THE BROTHERHOOD CHORUS, THE YOUNG ADULT PRAISE TEAM, THE YOUTH CHOIR and THE MORNING STARS CHILDREN'S CHOIR.

Drama

The Drama Ministry provides a means to communicate the "Gospel Truth". It is an environment which allows people to fellowship and worship through an art form. You can volunteer for a performance or be a part of the stage crew. We also encourage writers to share their talents.

Men

Identify and personally connect with men, teens and boys. We are teaching boys to become better men.

Our projects promote fellowship and encourages mentoring and social interaction among males of all ages.

Audio/Video

A service ministry that spreads the gospel to God's people through radio, television and web streaming to those who know and don't know the Lord. Volunteers are welcomed and no experience is necessary. If you love to create graphics, write or take pictures, or just curious about how things work, this ministry is for you.

gatekeepers

The Gatekeeper’s ministry provides a vital service to those who choose to worship at Morning Star Baptist Church. We provide safe access to our facilities and help ensure our parking areas are secure. We keep a watchful eye out for potential safety hazards and threats to the security of our members and guests.
