This competition will highlight local talent as well as serve as a fundraiser for their 90th church anniversary. Talk Show Host, Comedian, and Actress Sheryl P. Underwood will be featured as the hostess for the evening.

Morning Star’s Pastor, Theron Jackson, released the following statement: “We believe that highlighting and showcasing some of the premiere talent in our community has a double bottom line. We are able to offer the best and most talented people in our community a stage and platform to showcase their gifts. And, they are able in turn, to contribute those gifts to the enjoyment and entertainment of our community…”

Doors open at 7pm and the showcase will begin at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now for $30 and can be purchased at Morning Star during business hours (9am-5pm), 5340 Jewella Avenue, as well as on EventBrite. Tickets for children 6-12 are $20, and can be purchased at the door the night of the event.
